Ingredients

 

1 cup warm water

 

1/2 cup sugar

 

1/2 tsp salt

 

5 tablespoons oil

 

3 cups flour

 

2 tsp yeast

 

1/8 tsp yellow food

 

color powder

 

1 tsp allspice

 

1 tsp nutmeg

 

1 tsp vanilla essence

 

1 egg

 

1/2 tsp bitters

 

1/4 cup raisins

 

1 tablespoon glazed fruits

 
 
 

DIRECTIONS

 
 
 

Sift flour in a bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix…Make a well in center add water & oil.. food color, fruits raisins & egg knead into a soft ball… cut dough into 12 pieces Roll out into 12 balls place on a greased cookie sheet about an inch apart… Let rise for at least 60 minutes. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes. Take out Brush with sugar water put back in the oven for 2mins… allow to cool
